Kyle started his athletics career in 2003 with sprint hurdles, and later moving onto sprints. Since the start of his athletics career, Kyle showed great talent in sprint hurdles taking silver in his first track race, the Essex AA T&F Championships in Newham 2003. Kyle was also successful in Aviva Indoor Sportshall. In 2004 & 2005, Kyle qualified making the Essex Indoor Sports Hall Team. Representing Essex both years in the South of England Regional Aviva Sportshall Championships; and later on both occasions in 2004 & 2005, represented Essex at the UK National Aviva Sportshall UK Championships, held at The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. Throughout secondary school, Kyle was part of his schools English Schools' Athletic Team, qualifying to regional finals. Currently Kyle now competes in: 800m, 2000m & 3000m Steeplechase.
