Sprint performances - why is my time marked as windy when there was no wind speed recorded
On some occasions a sprint performance may be listed with the mark suffixed by a 'w' meaning wind assisted even if no actual wind speed recording was made.
This denotation will be used when it is believed that performances may have been wind assisted beyond the legal measurement of 2.0m/s. This occurance will be rare and no decision will be taken without the judgement and advice of key technical officials that would have been present on that occasion. In each or any issue of this type UKA is the arbiter of whether a performance is then ranked on Power of 10 with or without this denotation.
