▪ I am from a small town called Mendida, in Ethiopia ▪ I spent 2 years as a junior athlete being trained by Coach Eshetu Sentayehu from the age of 13 ▪ Coach Sentayehu famously brought through athletes such as Kenenisa Bekele & Tirunesh Dibaba • I trained at the Addis Ababa Academy & was a training partner for the likes of Ermias Girma (Oylmpic 1500m semi-finalist age 19), Kumar Girma (13:03 5000m age 18) & Addisu Gobena (2:05 marathon age 19) • I am an asylum seeker living in the UK, I dream of one day representing GB at the Olympics like my hero Mo Farah • I ran the world U20 standard for both 1500m & 3000m in 2024 Contact email: birukkebede62@gmail.com
