To God be the glory!
I started out as a bodybuilder, heavily involved in weightlifting, between the ages of 14-16.
My bodyweight was having a negative affect on my cardiovascular fitness, which greatly annoyed me!
This is when I started to get into running; been running ever since! Finshed the Ironman Triathlon in 14 hours on Saturday 30th July 2022. It was a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run, with 5000ft ascent.
I would like to personally thank the following people for helping me with my overall fitness and running:-
- Dave Sutcliffe (Ex-PTI in the Army): Helped me with bodyweight exercises, triathlons, cycling and running.
- Phil Hall (Clayton Harriers): Helped me with 800m, 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon running.
